30-hour Trauma-Sensitive Yoga course
We are happy to offer one of our most sought-after modules in an online, on-demand format. This comprehensive training is divided into three key parts. In the first part, Understanding Trauma, you will explore the definitions of trauma, its prevalence, trauma-related disorders, and the risk and mitigating factors that influence trauma outcomes. The second part focuses on the Nervous System and the Neurobiology of Stress and Trauma, delving into the science behind how trauma impacts the nervous system and overall neurobiology. The third part introduces Spanda Institute’s Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Principles and Practice, where you’ll learn which yogic tools are best suited for a trauma-sensitive approach. Additionally, this module includes separate sections dedicated to Restorative Yoga and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Nidra, equipping you with practical tools to create safe, supportive, and healing experiences for your students.
10-hour Yoga History Philosophy & Tradition
This course explores the rich and fascinating history, philosophy, and tradition of yoga. Given the breadth of this subject, the content is divided into six segments. We recommend watching each segment fully and without interruption the first time, then revisiting it a second time to pause, reflect, and take notes. Each segment includes a short quiz, a written assignment, or both. You should allocate at least 10 hours to complete this module thoroughly.
18-hour Prenatal Yoga Essentials

Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga
